Footpath Maintenance

The Association currently has insufficient resources to maintain kissing gates, stiles and footbridges and is reliant on Local Authorities meeting their responsibilities for footpath maintenance. If you come across a hazardous structure or a severely overgrown footpath you can report it to the responsible local authority, see below:

Warwickshire County Council
Solihull Council – phone 0121 704 8001/6000 Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM

In the past our Work Parties cleared overgrown footpaths and installed and maintained kissing gates, footbridges and way-mark posts so that A Coventry Way and the 21 Circular Walks remained open for walkers to enjoy.

See what they have been up to to over the years.
