A small group of volunteers from A Coventry Way Association set to work on the enclosed path into Kenilworth Golf course in order to widen the path which is often overgrown with brambles. This path starts from Frythe Close at the eastern end of Map 4 in the Green Challenge Book. It always needs attention just before every Challenge day, and the Association felt that a severe cut back would not only make it easier to maintain, but would also encourage walkers to use the newly exposed ground, and in so doing prevent the brambles from returning.

Time alone will tell of course, but we are confident that participants in the 2020 Challenge will be able to negotiate this path much more easily than in previous years.
