To celebrate the newly crowned King Charles III an extra bank holiday was declared on 8 May. The day was to be “The Big Help Out” where people throughout the UK could volunteer to do any sort of community work.

As our Big Help Out we organised a three-strong work party to carry out some footpath maintenance work. We replaced the legs on two stiles on the Coventry Way in the vicinity of Birchley Hayes Wood.
